Cervantes, Jurien Bay and Nambung bushfire – impact to water services
Residents in Cervantes, Jurien Bay, Green Head, Leeman and Nambung, Shire of Dandaragan, should not rely on mains (scheme) water supply, as bushfires impact power supply to local water infrastructure.
Water Corporation is advising that the community may have low water pressure or no water supply, exacerbated by additional demand for firefighting water.
Water tankers are being deployed to help resupply local water storage tanks, and additional crews from Perth have been mobilised to assist with deploying generators, where it is safe to do so.
As the situation evolves, further updates will be provided on this page, as required.
