Water Corporation new Acting Chairman appointed

Water Corporation Deputy Chairman David Lock has taken up the role of Acting Chairman after Michael Hollett tended his resignation citing business and family interests.

Prior to taking up a position on the Water Corporation Board in 2014, Mr Lock held senior managerial roles in Australian food and agribusiness companies and in a large international consultancy. He brings significant finance skills to the board and is also Chair of the Water Corporation’s Audit & Risk Committee.

Mr Hollet joined Water Corporation’s Board in 2012 and was appointed as Chairman in January 2017.

A new Chairperson will be appointed in due course in accordance with the Water Corporations Act 1995.
