The way we work
We’re working to make WA a great place to live and invest. As well as being the principal supplier of water, wastewater, drainage and bulk irrigation services, we’re creating a sustainable future and finding new ways to create value for the State.
We directly employ more than 4,000 people across the state, providing a high level of expertise and strong commitment to communities. We manage $50 billion (replacement value) of assets that support us in delivering water services across an expanse of 2.6 million square kilometres.
We're owned by the Western Australian Government and represented by the Minister for Water; Training and Youth, the Hon. Simone McGurk MLA. Most of our financial surplus is returned to the State Government to contribute to the development of WA. The remainder is reinvested in our infrastructure.
Guided by our values, it is our people who enable us to deliver on our Purpose and Vision.
