Residents in West Perth advised of low water pressure for essential works
Residents in West Perth are advised of possible reduced water pressure from 10pm Sunday 30 October to 6am Monday 31 October during essential works to replace two water main valves in Kings Park.
The large supply main that transfers water to homes and businesses in the area will be isolated while works are undertaken, and scheme water supplied via a temporary pipeline.
As water pressure is restored, some residents may notice discoloured water due to increased flow stirring up natural sediment in the water. The sediment is harmless, and the water is safe to use. Discolouration will reduce throughout the day as water is dispersed through the network.
Water Corporation understands this may cause some inconvenience and is committed to minimising any disruption as much as possible. We would like to thank the community for its patience and understanding while crews work to compete this important work.
