How to set up a direct debit

Direct debit is fast to set up and get started with our direct debit form. Please have your bank account, credit or debit card details ready. If you're a business customer or property manager, you can set up multiple direct debits when you log in to your online account.
Setting up a direct debit
When you set up your direct debit, you can choose from 2 payment plans:
- Pay your bills in full when they are due - the exact amount of your bill is automatically paid on your due date.
- Pay by regular amounts - set up small regular payments to help reduce the size of your bills when they are due.
Please note: If you're renting and receive your bills directly from us, you’ll only have the option to pay your bills in full when they are due. The regular payments option is unavailable.
If you choose to set up small regular payments, you can choose to do this weekly, fortnightly or monthly. For example: If your 2 monthly bill is $300, then your instalments could be:
- $37.50 per week or
- $75 per fortnight or
- $150 per month
We’ll still send you a bill 16 days before the due date. If your account is in credit, this will go towards your next bill, or you can request a refund.
If your regular payments don’t cover your bill by the due date, you will need to contact us to arrange a payment arrangement.
Setting up multiple direct debits
If you have a business or property manager online account, you can also set up multiple direct debits.
Please log in to your online account to set up multiple direct debits for the properties you manage.
Once you log in, please select the 'Bill & payments' tab, and click on 'Manage direct debit'. From the 'Manage direct debit' screen, choose a 'pay in full' or 'regular payments' direct debit. You'll then have the option to select the properties for which you want to set up the direct debit.
Please note: If you want to set up different payment plans for different properties, you'll need to set up 2 separate direct debits.
For example, set up your 'pay in full' plan first and select all the properties to which you want to apply this plan. Once you've set this up, go back to 'Manage direct debit' and select 'Set up regular payments', then choose all the properties for this plan.
